Pomona
This head of the Woodnymph Pomona is an architectural feature of the 1938 United States Botanic Garden Building in Washington, DC.
“Pomona - female figure with wild flowers and a headband.
Pomona is the goddess of fruitful abundance in ancient Roman religion and myth. Her name comes from the Latin word pomum, ‘fruit’ specifically orchard fruit.” -- USBG signage.
