Elizabeth Waters Cromwell



This 1791-1794 portrait of Elizabeth Waters (Mrs. Richard) Cromwell (1759-1794) by Charles Peale Polk hangs in the Smithsonian American Art Museum. SIRIS says this painting and its companion were originally attributed to Charles Wilson Peale.
